AUCTANE LIMITED is responsible for the processing of your personal data for the purposes of providing you with the services identified in this privacy policy.

Auctane is committed to the fundamental right to the protection of your personal data and this privacy policy is intended to inform you of your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’).

We inform you that Auctane has a Data Protection Officer in accordance with the GDPR, at your disposal for any doubts or queries regarding the processing of your data, who can be contacted at [email protected].

  1. What information will we collect from you?

The data you provide directly to us

We will collect information about you, when you register for the event and once you arrive at the event to verify your identity.

To ensure that the information provided is up to date and free of errors, you must notify Auctane if there were any changes in your data prior to the day of the event.

Data obtained indirectly

When you browse through our websites, different cookies and other tracking devices may be installed on your device, as explained in our Cookies Policy.

  1. For what purpose and on what legitimate basis do we process the data? 

The purposes foreseen for the processing of personal data are the following:

Based on the management of the contractual or pre-contractual relationship:

  • To manage your registration as a participant of the event, as well as your access to the venue.
  • To provide you all the services in relation to the event. 

Based on the compliance with a legal obligation:

  • Allow the users the exercise of their rights and attend their information requests.
  • Comply with the applicable regulation and cooperate with competent authorities.

Based on the explicit, free and unequivocal consent that you give us at the time of collecting your data:

  • To send your data to event sponsors for them to carry out their own processing activities in accordance with their privacy policies. Your consent will be obtained when registering to take part in the event.
  1. To whom is the data communicated? 

All transfers of personal data that we carry out are necessary for the fulfillment of the above-mentioned purposes or are made in order to fulfill a legal obligation: (i) To public administrations and the administration of justice, and to law enforcement agencies in compliance with the legal obligations applicable to us; (ii) To the companies providing IT services to Auctane; (iii) To the event sponsors when necessary.

In this regard, we inform you that any transfer will be made considering all the necessary legal safeguards. We also guarantee that we sign specific contracts with all our service providers as established by the regulations.

Furthermore, Auctane grants that the necessary precautions have been taken so that your data can be transferred safely, in the case that any provider is located outside of the European Union or others not considered adequate in accordance with data protection regulations.

  1. Exercising your rights

We also inform you that you have the right to lodge a complaint before the competent authority if you consider that we have committed a breach of data protection legislation regarding the processing of your personal data.

We will only keep your data for as long as is necessary to provide these services to you. Any of the data you provide us will be blocked as long as they are no longer necessary to manage the service and will only be available in the event that there is a legal obligation (derived from a request from the State Security Forces and Bodies or the Courts and Tribunals) as well as when you exercise your rights.

We have put in place appropriate technical and physical measures and management processes to safeguard and secure the information we collect from you.

We make our best efforts to keep our privacy policy fully updated. If we make changes, these will be clearly identifiable in a clear and specific manner, as possible in the relationship we have established with you (e.g. we may communicate changes to you by email).
