In registering for the event and in line with the TDC Global terms and conditions which can be found at https://www.thedeliveryconference.com/terms-conditions/ we have created an event App to enhance your networking experience. To facilitate your participation in the App, your name, company and job title has been pre-populated into the App, enabling you to login quickly and easily.
This Event App has been produced in conjunction with Shocklogic. Their full terms and conditions can be viewed at http://bit.ly/shocklogicdatapolicies
General usage:
Mobile Event Solution Features: Mobile Event Solution features include an event schedule, exhibitor list, speaker list, maps, in-app messaging, meeting scheduling and an event social wall.
Updating your profile: Your profile has been set to private within the App. Only your name, company and job title are pre-populated into the App. You may edit your profile at any time within the App by hitting the “My Profile” icon. We are not responsible for any changes that you make to your own profile.
Activity Feed: You are invited to add content about your participation at the event to the Activity Feed. This is in-App only and will not post on external social media. If you wish to post social media to your accounts, please do so by logging in through your usual channels and using the event hashtag #tdcglobal. Your post will then appear on the events Event Wall within the App Activity feed.
Session Check-in and Ratings: Attendees may check-in to sessions and rate them within the App. This data will be compiled and analysed. Individuals profile details will not form part of the analysis and will not be collected to meet this purpose.
Live Poling: Attendees will be invited to take part in live polls within the App. This data will be compiled and analysed. Individuals profile details will not form part of the analysis and will not be collected to meet this purpose.
Your rights:
Hiding your attendance: You may request to delete your profile at any time by emailing [email protected].
We agree:
i) not to use the App for phishing or spamming, including, but not limited to, engaging in any types of activities that violate anti-spamming laws and regulations, or that are otherwise improper, inappropriate or illegal; and
ii) not to make use of push notifications in a manner which is excessive.
iii) to delete the App and all data enclosed within it, within 30 days of event close.
Confidentiality:
i) each party shall maintain the confidentiality of all information and data of the other and its affiliates, that is marked as confidential or which ought reasonably to be regarded as confidential, that it collects, receives or communicates in connection with the App and shall not directly or indirectly copy, release, disclose, divulge or permit access to any such confidential information without the prior written consent of the other party.
ii) TDC Global will not hold any personal data including that obtained via attendee to attendee communications, for its own use. Data will be compiled, and analysis limited to session rating, check-in and the live poling of sessions for the purpose of statistically analysing the responses of attendees.
iii) as a policy, we do not examine any of the data that you upload to the App except at Your request and only for the purposes of providing You with technical support, hence Attendee shall have sole responsibility for the accuracy, quality, integrity, legality, reliability, appropriateness and ownership of all of the data You submit to the App.
iv) you acknowledge that mobile devices may be lost or stolen, and the transmission, processing or storage of sensitive information on such devices creates certain security risks that TDC Global cannot mitigate, including without limitation onward dissemination of Content by attendees of the event(s). Therefore, Customer agrees that TDC Global is not responsible for the unauthorized dissemination of any Content distributed to a mobile device through the Mobile Event Solution.

The App, site, our content, and member content are all provided to you “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.
Should applicable law not permit the foregoing exclusion of express or implied warranties, then we grant the minimum express or implied warranty required by applicable law. No advice or information, whether oral or written, shall create any warranty, representation or guarantee not expressly stated in this section.
Additionally, we do not make any warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, secure or error free or that your use of the app will meet your expectations, or that the App, site, our content, any member content, or any portion thereof, is correct, accurate, or reliable. Your use of the app or site is at your own risk. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members. Metapack limited is not responsible for the conduct of any user.
Neither us nor any owner will be liable for any damages, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive, including, without limitation, loss of data, income, profit or goodwill, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties arising out of your access to or use of the App, site, our content, or any member content, however caused, whether based on breach of contract, tort (including negligence), proprietary rights infringement, product liability or otherwise.
The foregoing shall apply even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages. If you become dissatisfied in any way with the App, your sole and exclusive remedy is to stop your use of the app and site.
You hereby waive any and all claims arising out of your use of the app. If any portion of this limitation on liability is found to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, then our aggregate liability shall not exceed 1pence (1pence).
The limitation of liability herein is a fundamental element of the basis of the bargain and reflects a fair allocation of risk. The App and site would not be provided without such limitations and you agree that the limitations and exclusions of liability, disclaimers and exclusive remedies specified herein will survive even if found to have failed in their essential purpose.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Disputes or claims arising in connection with these Terms (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
